The Church as the Unfaithful Spouse -
Part V(outline
of topics) |
-
How Would We
Recognize the Messiah/Christ? (Unfaithful Spouse - Part V) -
- Understanding the Epistles of Paul and his doctrine of
faith (the force that enables us to move onward in our endeavor to perfect
the Word within ourselves) - Part of the Gospel Message, not the Whole.
- Judgment upon the earth – prophesy in Jude that quotes
Enoch (Jude 1:14) and the
Book of Enoch. Why was the Book of Enoch, revered by the early Christians,
rejected by the church of Rome. Observing the mindset of the Jews at the beginning of
our Common Era – a comparison to present-day Christians and Jews. Why they
failed to recognize Jesus? In the same way as the Jews at the beginning of
our Common Era, believers today are waiting for the Messiah to bring
Judgment upon the earth.
- According to history, there were more Jews that
accepted Jesus’ Messiahship, than those who disbelieved. Jews that embraced
TheWay – the Living Spiritual religion that Jesus revealed.
- In Scripture the Kingdom is portrayed as being
imminently at hand - so much so, that Paul warned the believers in Corinth
to not even return home to their wives (1 Cor 7:29 NIV).
- Protestantism was founded almost exclusively upon the
Epistles of Paul, and it has been the assertion of the church that only Paul
perceived the true message of Christ.
- Deception of the Roman Church, flawed doctrines to
explain why Jesus failed to fulfill the most important Biblical prediction
(Inauguration of the Kingdom of God on earth). The Jews were considered
apostates because they rejected Jesus, which was used by the Roman church to
foster deception among the Gentiles.
=Section Link: "Once these facts are truly recognized, both
Jews and Christians alike must begin to embrace the very essence of all
religious controversy -- i.e., what if the Christians, like the majority of
Jews, have failed to perceive the true nature of the scriptures?"
- Modern Christian and Jews fail to perceive the true
nature of the Scriptures. Interpreting sacred symbols from a carnal/literal
perspective. The Bible itself is not a historical narrative, but rather, a
spiritual roadmap that was left to instruct the Prodigal Sons in their
journey home to the Kingdom of the Father.
- The war of all wars in high spiritual places will
never come about in the manner that believers expect - allegory of the
Second Coming. "Entos" - Kingdom Within, Cleaning Inside of the Cup
(Luke 17:20-21, Matthew 23:26).
- To be “Born Again” – a profound spiritual experience
or philosophical belief? "Pangs of Birth,” the “Narrow Way” (birth canal), and
the allegory of Armageddon.
- The movement of mind within the Laws of God to bring
about the Anointing of the Light – the transformation of mind conveyed
through Scripture (Tree of Life and the significance of numbers in the
account of Jesus).
- The error of the Sadducees and Pharisees was seen in
the fact that they read the scriptures as history, and not as a portrayal of
the transformation of the mind. Embracing Scriptures in an intimate manner – all
symbolism conveys a meaning with respect to our quest to come into the
Presence of Light.
- Man's divided nature – the multidimensional nature of
mind and the
multitude of personalities within (Whole of the Community). Mark 5:9,
Legion. The reality of the animal nature in Scriptural allegory.
- The Pentecost, Messiah who was resurrected on the true
Passover of the Lord, the twelve gathered in the upper room at Jerusalem,
the conversion of the Nations into Jews (symbols that relate the condition of mind necessary to
receive the Anointing of the Holy Spirit).
- The Reality of Creation – all
things are subject to immutable Laws. Spiritual understanding of the Law. Alteration of the Biblical texts in order to support
the carnal/literal perception and the “abolishment” of the Law. Corruption
of Scripture by Biblical copyists to support Gentile/Pagan ideas, rejecting
anything that was too "Jewish." What has emerged today as Christianity is a
carnal reinterpretation of what was at its essence a purely Spiritual
religion.
- All souls must evolve past the entry level of
development, beyond the milk which Paul gave to the Gentile converts
(minimum requirements). Milk of the Gospel.
- What did Jesus say we must do to enter into eternal
life? "Keep the Commandments". Entry-level requirements, set forth in the
Bible. Transition form carnal to Spiritual. Man's quest to be born into the
realm of higher reality and enter into Life.
- Allegory of Scripture - the Living and the Dead. The
proper lifestyle and mindset of a seeker, "capturing every thought to
Christ." The true Christian is the one who totally abandons the thinking,
mindset, traditions and customs of this world. Scriptural concepts viewed as
extreme.
=Section Link: "True Spirituality, then, as with every aspect
of life, must be perceived as a measure of the inner depth of the individual..."
- True Spirituality must be perceived as a measure of
the inner depth of the individual.
- Hebrew Holy Men – the process of developing
consciousness. Preparing people to enter into true union with God.
Transformation in steps – transitory movement toward creating the mindset
and lifestyle necessary. Returning to the Source of Creation. Examining the
society of the Hebrews (diet, animal sacrifices, clothes, planting,
language, Biblical outline for the children of Israel - 12)
- All of nature is a symbol of consciousness,
representing a thought, action, or concept, and is perceived by man in a
multidimensional manner. The mind - divided into a multitude of personalities,
divided powers, and opposing realities that must be brought into harmony. 12
Spheres of Mind that must interact both independently and harmoniously in
order to reach full potential.
- The Pattern of Mind, the Tree of Life, and the
Sacredness of Life and Sex. Seeking the highest expression of the Divine, in
our every-day-lives.
- Within the Hebrew community, all things became
God-centered in their daily lives as they created a culture and way of life
that embraced man’s higher reality in every aspect of the people’s existence.
Their society was created in the image of the Divine Pattern (physical,
mental, spiritual).
- Origin and dynamics of Creation. Symbolism of the
universal forces of Creation.
- Allegory of the Israelites (Moses, bondage in
Egypt, 40 years in the wilderness, manna from heaven,
- The New Testament was written in order to do away with
the archaic forms and symbols which were employed by the authors of the Old
Testament – in the New Testament the means to seek knowledge and salvation
is set forth in a very clear and obvious manner. The connection between the
OT & NT, Sacred Language of Scripture. Translation between the Hebrew
and Greek (Jesus-Joshua-Yeshua).
- Why the modern Jew and Christian is barred from the
Promised Land - disconnected with the spiritual reality of Life and
Scripture.
=Section Link: "An all-important concept that I will only
briefly touch on at the present time is the necessity..."
- Understanding the polarities of God and Creation. The divisions of heaven and earth, male and female,
positive and negative – Father/Mother God. The nature of the male and female
(XY-XX), Adam and Eve. Feminine nature of the this realm - Womb of
Mother-God.
- The Christian Gnostics, Buddhists (and other eastern
religions), Greek Philosophers, and Paul – perception of the
female being evil, understanding the male-dominated perception.
- The Reflective Female Power that raises man up to
Spiritual maturity. A wife should be seen as her husband's Goddess and
savior. Dynamics of the Divine Pattern. Purification and Consecration of the
flesh, in contrast to the escape methods of denial.
=Section Link: "What we are presented with here is one of those
foundational Christian truths that are totally lacking in our understanding
today..."
- Darwinistic perception – life is an accident of
conception, a chance encounter, and result of human genetics. Reality of the
nature of life.
- Sin: Failure to take advantage of the opportunities we are
presented with. The student and the classroom environment that is this
realm. The educational experience (requirements - the Laws that must be
overcome), tests and trials.
- Modern society, effects of lowered standards of
behavior and accountability. Squandering the opportunity of life, through
carnal living. The result of clinging to the doctrines and lifestyle
of this world – spiritual stagnation
- Understanding the purpose and function of the Laws of
God. Living in accordance with the Pattern - lifestyle.
- System of bringing about Perfection – the Laws of action and
reaction, Karma. The true test of moral, humanistic values can only be
achieved when these qualities are brought about by personal choice. Consciousness of the Laws.
"As ye sow, so shall ye reap" - why is punishment not instantaneous? Why are
we not given the answers to life?
- Secondary Karma - effects of closing your eyes to
immorality, corruption, iniquity and sin.
- Living the Gospel in word, thought, and deed –
manifesting Light in our lives. Parables of the Prodigal Son, the Sower and
the Seed and the Invitation to the Marriage Feast.
- Requirement of Works. "Others,
like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop --
thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown" (Mark 4:20 NIV).
The Word, sown in our hearts - becoming the good-ground.
- The essence of pre-destination -- the reality that we
will inherit our own thoughts and deeds. Our life is orchestrated in direct accordance with what
we have accomplished in living previous opportunities, the debts we owe, and
individual needs with respect to bringing about our eventual destiny.
- Consciously taking hold of the moment (the very second
in time that one is dwelling in) in one’s quest to enter the Kingdom.
Capturing every thought to Christ. Manifesting the third force of Creation
(application of the Divine Pattern in our lives). Untapped potential of
mind.
- Consciousness of all things transpiring from a
multi-dimensional perspective – to be Awake, Living (the sleeping and the
dead). Stages of development – the journey of conception to Birth. Spiritual
miscarriages. If we fail to enter the Kingdom while alive in the body, what
will occur when we die?
- Man's three-fold nature -- Body, Mind, Spirit. The
Birth Process. Directing our energies within and developing consciousness,
the narrow path - or out into the world, the broad way, servitude to the god
of this world. Vital-life-force, inheritance from the Father - Parable of
the Prodigal Son. Allegory and three-fold-nature of Scripture.
