Clinging to human interpretations of the Word,
following religious authorities - failure to become followers of Christ
Paul and the Gentile Christians of Corinth – belief
and faith? They believed, baptized, professed their allegiance to Jesus,
received the gifts of the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues – Paul had taught
them all they could, and yet they were still deemed “babes in Christ.” The
testimony of Christ (the crucifixion), the “good-news.”
The flaw of the Gentile Christians (“orthodox”), 4th
century Roman Church, and the Middle Age Reformers
The Inner Kingdom – the Gospel of God can only be
revealed to man via his own soul and spiritual natures when the inherent
state of division has been overcome (spiritual transformation and rebirth)
Relationship between Paul’s message and that of the
Early Church Fathers
Standard of perfection – not faith or beliefs. The two
doctrines – simple faith (parables) and those that are taught within the
house. Journey of the Prodigal Son, the need to progress toward maturity
Paul taught that there were two types of Christians –
those that knew the elementary doctrines and those that received Knowledge
directly from Spirit (genuine disciples of Paul)
The Scriptures call for a total and complete change of
mind and heart, purity (to “turn about”). All rituals given to the carnal
believer must be realized and practiced in spirit, rather than in flesh
(circumcision, baptism, laying on of hands, communion, etc.). Embracing the
Gospel in a Spiritual sense, the Robe of Purity
Conflict between the Spiritual and carnal (violent
opposition) – oppression and forced conversion, the power of the sword and
Emperor Constantine
Standard and examples – the 1st century
spiritual leaders within the church. As the greater number of Gentiles
converted, the balance of power was upset and the spiritual essence of the
church began to erode
Sanctification is found through the condition of one’s
mind and being in relation to the Kingdom. The God-given vital-force brought
into our being by way of the seven spiritual ‘rivers’ (centers) flowing
through our mind and body. The emphasis on the cleansing of the body-mind
from the defilements of this world, drawing closer to the indwelling soul
and spiritual natures (transformation into a spiritual being). Directing our
consciousness and energy through the lower centers and into the higher
centers of our being that are dormant in natural man
Knowledge of the Laws that control this realm. The
illusion of freedom – a freedom inhibited by a series of all-encompassing
restrictions upon our thinking and state of being.
Culture and environment of the prison (Plato’s Cave),
the god of this world. Scripture is a manual to escape the shackles of this
realm, to raise one’s mind above the carnal (the mountain) – preserved
copies of the Scripture
Because the natural Laws that hold all things in
balance, there must always exist varying levels of Spiritual maturity. The
quality of Spiritual food that each of us received is in direct relation to
how far we have traveled in TheWay. The Knowledge that we receive is in
accordance with our own needs and ability to use what we have been given
(Parable of the Talents)
Process of guiding the disciple in search for Truth –
false religious authorities and leaders. Jesus did not come to save those
that do not desire to change, who refuse to follow him and only embrace him
with their lips
Living Religion, the Genuine Spiritual Church.
Transition from carnal to Spiritual (multi-dimensional Scripture). Receiving
the Mysteries of God
