The Church as the Unfaithful Spouse -
Part II(outline
of topics) |
-
Christianity
Existed Prior to the Birth of Jesus (Unfaithful Spouse - Part II) -
- Why did early believers avoid using the name
‘Christian,’ ‘Christ’? – the Greek word used in reference to initiates of the
Greek mystery religions.
- Origin of the name "Christian," the Anointing of Mind
- the Old Testament and the manner in which the Sacred writings of all
people are written. The Sacred writings of the people we call Pagans – the
many stories and myths pertaining to the gods and goddesses, were in reality
pertaining to the manifestation of the Laws and Divine Powers throughout
Creation.
- Parables & rituals of the masses (literal word of the
Scriptures), and the depth of the enlightened Gnostic in religions the world
over. The ancient religions and their
relationship to the New Covenant – all religions of the world possess a
degree of truth, it was the people of the New Covenant that were holy enough
to embrace Truth in its Ultimate Reality
- The Philosophers spoke of Christ in the form of the
Logos. The Gospel of John and the connection to Plato and Greek
thought. The Dead Sea Scrolls and the discovery of the foundation of
Biblical thought - Jewish Essene Gnosticism.
-
Symbolism and allegory of the
Scriptures. Why is natural man unable to perceive the depth of the
Scriptures? (clinging to the written word). The Old and New Testament
Scriptures, as well as the writings of the Greek poets, have a common
Gnostic theme of "Christ in you."
=Section Link: "The
reason that the modern church cannot comprehend the true inner meaning of the
scriptures..."
-
Christian Atheism – worshiping on the day of the
sun-god, celebrating the festival of Easter and Saturnalia, belief in
Plato’s Doctrine of the Trinity, we do not observe the Commandments and Laws
set forth in the Scriptures, and disregard the references to seeking
the Mysteries of God. Sadducees and Pharisees.
-
The beliefs of the Gentile
converts during the 1st and 2nd century.
-
"Universal Truth." Every Spiritual Religion follows the Doctrine of the
Two Ways – religion for the masses and the sacred teachings of the inner
core (the simple/milk doctrine and the inner depth). Origen Contra Celsus.
The exoteric and esoteric.
- Crossing over the language barrier, understanding the
significance of the words – "Messiah," "Christ," "Anointed." Understanding the Logos and the Anointing of the Light
– The Word of God and the Christ. Greek Mythology.
- Sacred writings are written using the symbols of each
culture – understanding how all is connected, the common root of religion
(core expressions are always in accordance with the Divine Pattern and
always reveal the same inherent Truths). Looking beyond the body of
Scripture.
- The universal religious concept of "Anointed."
"Messiah" and "Christ" - Why do Biblical translators choose not to translate
this word in it's English form throughout the Old and New Testament?
- Rituals/beliefs of the Heathen masses and the
paganization of the New Covenant. Constantine and the Roman Empire -
severing "Jesus" from the foundation of Jewish thought.
=Section Link: "What modern Christians fail to understand is
that within the worship of the sun, is the worship of the one god..."
- The illusion and allusion of the physical realm as a
reflection of higher reality. Spiritual development of the masses, invoking
allusionary patterns (the erroneous belief that mythology promotes many
gods). Levels of Creation. All Scripture reveals Mind and its interaction between
higher and lower planes of existence – what is portrayed is the interaction
of higher mind, powers and Laws with our own physical body and mind.
- The Pagan concept of Christ fell short of the Messianic
perfection that the Son of God attained because the way of the Nations
was more in tune with the Hindu and Easter perspective of God – the approach
was in reverse. Greek Philosophers (spiritual theory) and the Hebrew
Prophets (those that were able to predict man's end and completion) -
limitations of both ways.
- The New Covenant writings: what makes them unique and
different from other Sacred religious teachings? During the 1st. century the
New Covenant writings were re-interpreted by gentile converts in the
theology and symbolism of the Poets, which inevitably led to the destruction
of the true New Covenant teachings.
- Modern Christian believers have become harlots to the
ways of the Nations and attempt to justify their religious customs and
beliefs, ignoring Biblical warnings. Prayer and worship in the ways of the
Nations. Turning prayer inward (Matthew 6:6 - twofold meaning).
- God - the flawed perspective of the Pagans and modern
day Christians. The perspective that God is viewed within New Covenant
writings - the perspective in which a seeker should live their life. "In him
we live and move and have our being" Acts 17:28. All people are the Divine
Emanation and Offspring of God - putting away the Pagan-adopted view that we
are inferior subjects to the royal hierarchy.
- The brotherhood of man. Jesus - our elder brother who
overcame the limitations of the flesh, and taught mankind The Way into the
Kingdom. Walking in the footsteps of Jesus. The nature of our purpose in
this realm, overcoming division. Actively living our lives in the endeavor
of entering the Kingdom within.
=Section Link: "It is not until we understand both the means by
which man enters the Kingdom..."
- The universality of religious symbolism: excuses made
by the Atheist and modern Christian – tenets of belief ‘borrowed’ or
‘copied’ from other sources (ignoring the essence of religion). The
fundamental purpose of religion - bridging the divide between the physical
and spiritual. Universal Genetics of our Creator and the limitations of man.
- Dead Sea Scrolls and the Essenes, the spiritual
foundation of Christianity -- and the condemnation of the Sadducees and
Pharisees (ritualization, practicing outwardly). The mindset of the
Pagan-Christians and the early gentile church. Atheist-Christians and the
Darwinistic view of life.
- TheWay of Completion and the first begotten Son of God
- limitations of the Greek philosophers and Hebrew prophets. The Great Error
of the Gentile Church - embracing the way of the
nations/Pagans/Philosophers. Corruption of the New Covenant and the Church
of Constantine.
- Three levels of Christianity prior to Constantine and
the design of the True Church. Parallel paths and the application of the Laws in
different cultures, meeting the individual needs of the people - the
Messianic Jewish movement (reaching the secular Jews) and the leaders of the
Gentile Church (pagan/gentile converts), assisting the masses in transition.
- Constantine, politics and the Paganism of Christianity
– Hitler of the 4th century
=Section Link: Paul of Samosata - Typical Clergy of the Church
- Clergy of the fourth century church, Pagan barbarians: corrupted, indulging in
carnal pleasures and material lifestyle – a reflection of their leader,
Constantine. Immorality and depravity of the churches and congregations.
- Living Religion and the Genuine Church - a True Church
can never have rigid doctrines of belief that must be adhered to, there must
be a certain level of doctrinal freedom that permits believers from all
walks of life to progress through the various stages of spiritual
development. Serving the individual needs of people at the level they are
at.
- The corruption of the church and the political
structure of Rome. Constantine: his writings and Pagan beliefs. Creation of
the Jesus-god.
- Misconceptions drawn from the Epistles of Paul – the
foundation of the Pagan church, Anti-Semitism and the mentality of Pagan
religious superiority.
=Section Link: The Adoption of the Doctrine of the Trinity
- Constantine and the early church viewed Moses, Jesus
and the prophets as Christians, not as of a Hebrew heritage - in order to
understand how the New Covenant teachings became corrupted, we must first
understand the perspective of the Pagan converts. Anti-Semitism and Pagan
religious superiority. Condemnation of the Hebrews as heretics that must be
wiped out. The anti-Jewish climate flourished a distain for the Old
Testament -- and even to some degree, the New Testament scriptures.
Condemnation of the "Jewish" Sabbath, New Year, and Passover. Anti-Semitism
and the mentality of Pagan religious superiority.
- The doctrine of the Trinity is not found in the Bible
and is totally absent from Hebrew writings. Trinity - the theology of Plato.
"This day I have begotten thee" - Luke 3:22 - ancient manuscripts and the
writings of the Early Church Fathers. The nature of the Son of God.
- Understanding the deeper level of Gnosticism that is
indigenous to the Gospel of John (concept of the Logos). Significance of the
Dead Sea Scrolls, the foundation of Christianity. Gnostic Scripture, the
essence of Gnostic thought, and the nature of the Logos.
- Limitations of carnal man, the quasi-Darwinist
perception of life and view of God. The pre-existing Soul, mankind's
journey, the Prodigal Son. We dwell in the Mind of God, and are the
projection of His thoughts (realities, dimensions, levels and paradoxes of
Creation) - all Life is God's own vital life-force that continues to move
throughout every level and aspect of Creation. Acts 17:28 - "In Him we live
and move and have our being." The pattern of physical conception, division
of the cells (each of us are a cell in the body-mind of God) - the nature of
our existence. The Kingdom within.
- The Ancient of Days - Hebrew sages and prophets were
able to envision God at His Source of Being (purity of religious
expression), whereas the Greek Philosophers could only contemplate God on
the level of the Trinity. The nature of Mind and the process of thought
(thought can only exist where there are differences in potential).
- Understanding the significance of the Trinity, the
first level of Creation
(positive/negative, male/female – with the resulting third dimension which
is the balance or product of the two opposing polarities). The Logos, Mind
of God (that which creates by virtue of its movement between the Divine
Opposite Polarities of the Triune force and manifestation of God). The
dynamics of Creation - each level of what is created moves out to its own
level of fullness, it interacts with the opposite polarity, and gives birth
to new levels and dimensions of Creation. The Divine Pattern manifest in the
form of man and woman.
- The 3, the 7 (rainbow, 7-note-octave, spiritual
centers, Enoch), and the 12 (Israel, disciples of Jesus, Tree of Life and
the Star of David). Old and New Testament symbolism (Judah, Judas - Jew, a
condition of mind), levels of Creation, and the disciples quest to overcome
division (Luke 11:17)
- Spiritual re-birth, symbolism of the crucifixion and
the significance of the betrayal of Jesus by Judas. Picking up our Cross
(Luke 14:27), a genuine disciple is not one who believes, but one who
follows in the pattern of Jesus. Entry-level believers and the Milk of the
Gospel.
- Symbolism of the Jew (interpreting outwardly, 1/12th
of the potential of mind), representing the disciple's walk in the beginning
of TheWay. Becoming the good-ground and directing within. The process of
development and Biblical symbology. Converting what is represented in
Scripture as the Nations (divided mind that is controlled by the appetites
of this world) - the people the Bible calls Jews, is representative of a
turning point in the mind of the believer (from the carnal Nations, to one
who attempts to bring everything in his life in conformity with the higher
aspects of Divine Law, yet is limited by not applying the keys that have
been given to him). Condemnation of the Pharisees and Sadducees (Luke
11:52).
- Process of transformation {cease to be controlled
(worship) idols (material things of this world) -- keep from fornication
(addiction to unrestrained sensuality) -- what is strangled (deprived of
spiritual life) -- and from blood (the craving of flesh)}. Striving to
become complete (the Nations, the Jew, Israel, the Messiah/Anointed).
Spiritual poverty and the counterfeit reality of this world - seeking that
which is Genuine.
- The Nations/Pagans and the corruption of the New
Covenant - all truth that was given into their hands became defiled and
contaminated by their heathen ways.
